Wwe Divas No Bra Biography
Though the term Diva did not exist back then. After winning the NWA Women's Title in 1956 from Judy Grable and later on in 1983, the Fabulous Moolah defected to WWF and was recognized as the first WWF Women's Champion. During this time period, this saw the introduction of many female wrestlers who competed with the promotion. The following year, singer Cyndi Lauper began a verbal feud with manager "Captain" Lou Albano, who long had a reputation of being a villain, this brought professional wrestling into mainstream culture in a storyline that became known as the "Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection." When it was finally time for Lauper and Albano to settle their differences in the ring, a match-up was scheduled with Albano representing Moolah against the challenge of Lauper’s protégé, Wendi Richter thus lead to Moolah losing the title at The Brawl to End It All as it was broadcast live on MTV. Richter would then lose the title to Leilani Kai the following year but would win it back at Wrestlemania 1. Miss Elizabeth would later on debut managing Randy Savage. In 1987 saw the introduction of Mike McGuirk as the first female ring announcer of the promotion. Sensational Sherri would debut in mid-1987 and same year winning the WWF Women's title. The first Survivor Series PPV saw the first female elimination match. Rockin' Robin would then be the last WWF Women's Champion in the late 80's.
When the WWF phased out its female talent roster in 1990, Sensational Sherri would remain with the company focusing on managing male wrestlers. At Wrestlemania 9, Luna Vachon would debut and in process along with Bam Bam Bigelow feuding with Sherri and Tatanka. Elizabeth and Sherri would then each depart from the company in 1992 and 1993.
After the deactivation of the division in 1990, WWF would host a tournament for the vacant WWF Women's title as newcomer Alundra Blayze defeated Heidi Lee Morgan in the finals on the December 13th edition of All American Wrestling. Leilani Kai would then appear at Wrestlemania 10 in a title match against Blayze and stay with the company for a few matches against Blayze in live events. In 1994 saw Japanese female wrestler Bull Nakano arrive in the company feuding with Blayze who Blayze at the same time period was also in a heated feud with Luna Vachon for the Women's title. After Nakano departed from the company in early 1995; in same year saw the arrivals of Bertha Faye and later on various other infamous Japanese female wrestlers such as Aja Kong who would also rekindle her feud with Blayze. In Survivor Series saw for the 2nd time a female elimination match. In December, Alundra Blayze would depart from the company after a controversially jumping to WCW thus phasing out again the women's division.
